So I bought a mechanics stethoscope at Harbor Freight Tools for only $5 ( sidewalk sale). I was easily able to determine it was the top card with the scope. I was very surprised how effective it was to pick up the whine. It works way better than my wife's professional doctor's stethoscope. Gonna try switching slots to see if it helps. Moving to another slot won't help. Changing the pci-e power connector and cable may help, simply because by pulling out and shoving connector in, you may make a better connection. Or moving cables around, you may make better cable management, Removing card and blowing some air in the heatsink to remove dust could help. Chaning power supply could.
